I provided painted colors for Milestone titles such as ICON, HARDWARE, BLOOD SYNDICATE, DEATH WISH and the DC Universe crossover WORLDS COLLIDE. And I had a chance to paint Superman!

It's 1993. I'm in the offices of the newly formed Defiant Comics. Jim Shooter is giving me a tutorial on the importance of color in comics storytelling as I prepared to paint their flagship book, WARRIORS OF PLASM.. Those were lessons that I use to this day in my work.
